Super Couch Potato 5K Results

February 4, 2018 - The Syracuse Track Club's eighth annual Super Couch Potato 5K kicked off NFL Championship Sunday on a cold and very windy morning at Onondaga Lake Park. William Hoyne won the race in 16:29; the female winner was Dara Megivern in 20:33. Organizers raffled off a big screen television provided by CNY Racing Apparel, and a pair of $250 gift certificates courtesy of Dunk & Bright Furniture using race finishers' bib numbers. Age group winners collected potato chips from Terrell's, and the Cobblestone Ale House was the scene of post-race refreshment, including home-made chicken soup. All entrants received commemorative beanies and buffs. Full results, awards.

Cross Country 2017 Regular Season Comes To An End

November 17, 2017 - The 5th and final race of the PGXC Series took place on Sunday, November 12, at the challenging Fingerlakes Community College course. It was once again a very successful season for The Syracuse Track Club.

In the final season standings our teams placed:

  • 1st Women Masters
  • 1st Women Veterans
  • 2nd Women Open
  • 1st Men Open
  • 1st Men Supervets
  • 2nd Men Veterans
  • When you consider the fact that this is a competition against the strongest clubs in all of Upstate New York (GVH, Bergen Elite, Roadkill, Fingerlakes, Checkers, High Noon, and others), that is quite an accomplishment. Congratulations to all participants involved. Every single person mattered. The success can be attributed to the entire team as a whole.

Final team standings can be found here.

Results of each race can be found on our cross country page.

Next up is the USATF XC Club Nationals in Lexington, Kentucky on December 9th. Contact or for further details.
